IT PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION

The IT Professional Certification Program prepares students for employment and/or career advancement in a variety of information technology (IT) occupations. The IT Professional Certification Program will help prepare students for entry-level employment in end-user computer support occupations.

IT Professional Certification will prepare students in computer hardware and software troubleshooting and support as well as in local area networks. Graduates of the IT Professional Certification Program will be qualified for employment as help desk support specialists, LAN administrators and computer hardware technicians.

Upon completion of the IT Professional Certification program, students will be qualified to sit for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+ and Network + examinations, as well as the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician examination.
